Self-help letter builder
Notice of violation to your association.
Before you can file a complaint with the Nevada Real Estate Division, you must send the association a written notice by certified mail. This builder prepares that notice.
Before you send it
- It must go by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the last known address. Keep the receipt and the green card. The Division will ask for them.
- The Division's form requires that you allow at least 10 business days for a response before filing.
- Your affidavit can only raise what this notice raised, so be complete. Use a separate notice for each separate violation.
- The affidavit must be filed within one year of discovering the violation. See complaints to the Division.

This tool produces a general form letter based on what you type and on Nevada law. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
